Experience the Ancient Trails of Sintra-Cascais Reserve

Sintra has its own special climate and almost bucolic way of life. Its lush forests with hidden 19th century villas, despite encroaching development still exert magic. This is a memorable ride combining great scenery and exciting mountain biking.

Our route follows a mix of fire roads, which can be slick and eroded and sometimes rocky, and single-track through beautiful Mediterranean forests and granite outcroppings.

Once at the shore we’ll be riding along Guincho bike lane along the coast into the heart of Cascais — once a fishing village, now a sophisticated shopping and tourist center.

Summer Time Suggestion:

You can stay longer in Cascais (maybe go for a swim) and return later by bike on your own!
We will give the necessary train tickets and detailed instructions on how to return.
