Within only 6 kms of Lisbon’s town center, a scenic route and an “off the beaten track” cool ferry ride. No climbing, no traffic, no cobblestones, no tram tracks! Just enjoy the beauty of Lisbon’s quiet scenic waterfront bike lane!
From Lisbon’s city center we will follow the course of the Tagus River to Belém, where you will discover two of the finest examples of the exuberant and exotic Manueline style of architecture – only to be found in Portugal.
A ferryboat ride will take us to another bike lane on the southern banks of the Tagus River, where over flat terrain we will continue our cycling experience past fishing communities and pine woods towards a pristine beach front.
Once at the coast… endless gold sand beaches await you for a sun bath, a dive or a swim. A snack stop is great for contemplating the views.
Summer Time Suggestion:
You can stay at the Beach longer and return later by bike on your own!
We will give the necessary Ferry tickets and detailed instructions on how to return.

This ride can easily be completed by everyone, including those with less biking experience.
We avoid busy streets with traffic and mostly ride on bike lanes and low/moderate traffic streets and quiet lanes.
Children Policy:
Under 4 ride in Bike Trailers; 4-6’s might use a trail-a-bike. Children over 6 years can ride kids bikes available.
