After riding the canopy roads of Sintra – Cascais Nature Reserve we will finish on a rolling downhill along Europe’s westernmost coastline to the yacht harbor in Cascais.
Sintra’s stunning setting on the north slopes of the granite Serra, among wooded ravines and fresh water springs, made it a favorite retreat for the kings of Portugal. We will be riding through the picturesque historic town center before entering a fairytale forest.
After a long downhill, with an optional visit to Cabo da Roca, we will be riding past gold sand beaches and along the cliff shores of Guincho ending up in Cascais, once a cozy fisherman’s village now a sophisticated shopping town and an interesting area to discover on bike!
Summer Time Suggestion:
You can stay longer in Cascais (maybe go for a swim) and return later by bike on your own!
We will give the necessary train tickets and detailed instructions on how to return.

Sintra – Cascais Bike Tour Note:
This is a Moderate level ride with a couple challenging climbs and some fast descents. We avoid busy streets with traffic and normally ride on bike lanes and low/moderate traffic streets and quiet forest paved roads.
Children Policy:
This tour has an age limit of minimum 12 years and should be use to riding on roads with some traffic.
