Lisbon’s Greatest Tour Mountain Bike Tour
Lisbon’s Off-Road Trails and City Sightseeing
A bike ride is an excellent orientation to Lisbon and its sites, as seen from vantage points shared by few others. We’ll begin our tour with a warm up ride through Lisbon’s downtown area until we reach Monsanto Park, aptly known as Lisbon’s lungs.
Monsanto Park offers a great variety of off-road options through the wooded hills over paths with options of single-track, gravel and dirt forest tracks at times can be rocky and/or muddy. There are frequent, but short climbs.
We will circumnavigate the park, with great views of Lisbon, we will then descend towards river Tagus to Belem Quarter with its amazing heritage. Once in Belem, we will continue along Lisbon’s new waterfront bike lane, enjoying some great views at a relaxed pace.

We do not have a pre-set route for this tour; instead we prefer to offer you a unique biking experience matching your physical ability, riding skills and special interests. Normally our ride can easily be completed by everyone including those with less or none off-road biking experience as long as comfortable and used to ride in urban traffic.
This tour has an age limit of minimum 12 years and children should be used to ride on roads with some traffic and have previous off-road experience.
“I’ve done quite a few city bike tours around the world and usually they are interesting and enjoyable but fairly sedate. This however is a full-on mountain bike experience up the hills/park NW of the centre.”

“Got really good contact with the peoples at Bikeiberia during the booking of the ride (…)showed me great trails and how to control the MTB to manage my way around the 3-4 hours we were out. ”
